Student Council THEME for Walk to School Day is ‘Super Heroes and Villians’
Middle School Walking Teams and individuals gather at the old Intermediate School parking lot by 6:45 am to walk to Harris Stadium. They will get a raffle ticket which they can redeem at the Harris Stadium concession stand for an Einstein’s bagel and lemonade. Teachers will judge the team costumes and Student Council will present TEAM prizes. Some individual prize raffle winners will also be announced during morning announcements. TEAMs can compete for prizes based on their representation of the theme ‘Super Heroes and Villians’ and can win for:
1) Funniest costumes
2) Most unique costumes
3) Best homemade costumes
Teams walk after school from Harris Stadium to the Masonic Hall downtown (above Lowe’s Electronics). The Passport To Chagrin scavenger hunt will start and end at Masonic Hall. After a snack and instructions, first clues will be distributed. Teams will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to find all 12 clue locations and return to the hall check in tables. Winning teams will be recognized after the hunt in the Masonic Hall between 4:45-5:15pm. Students will be released by 5:30pm to walk home or meet a parent to be picked up at a designated location.
NOTE: Team members who start the scavenger hunt must be present for the whole game from start to finish to be eligible to win scavenger hunt prizes. This will be monitored at the registration table at the Masonic Hall.
Team Registrations are required to participate. Only one student needs to submit the Team form with all the names of the team. A CFMS Team Registration Form can be obtained from Señora Aranavage.

Teams can be any number of students up to 6. Students can compete individually, as a pair or in a larger group. Teams larger than 6 can not be entered because prizes are based on groups of 6 or less people. If your group is larger, try dividing it in to two smaller teams.
