Teen Volunteers

Have you got a teen that’s gone green?  We’d love to have their help.  Safe Routes to School has a history of involvement with teen groups in other communities.  We’d like to carry that model in to our own community if we find enough interest.  Next school year (2010-2011) we hope to offer more options for teens interested in the environmental aspects of Safe Routes to School and alternative transportation.  We also hope to offer community service credit to teens that … well…serve their community!  Safe Routes may need their help at functions for kids, encouraging safe walking and keeping the school routes clear for the sick or infirm in bad weather.  Check back for updates.
