Teen Volunteers

Have you got a teen that’s gone green?  We’d love to have their help.  Safe Routes to School has a history of involvement with teen groups in other communities.  We’d like to carry that model in to our own community if we find enough interest.  We hope to offer more options for teens interested in the environmental aspects of Safe Routes to School and alternative transportation.

We also offer community service credits to teens that … well…serve their community!

Safe Routes needs their help at all our functions for kids including our walk to school after school events, bike rodeos and  Cupcake Walk.  We are also actively seeking a teen to help organize a snow removal program to keep the school routes clear in front of the homes of the sick and elderly.  Please contact us for information on either one hour of service, one day of service or a longer term arrangement.
