When Spring has Sprung, it’s time for our annual Bike to School Day. Usually held the first week in MAY, Bike to School Day is a time to focus on health, safety, and fun. After all, biking to school is a great way for students to get some of their recommended 60 minutes of daily exercise. To keep students safe while they’re staying healthy, we’ve organized bike rodeos, bike helmet fittings and bicycling safety instruction prior to our Bike to School events.
Biking to school is a fun way for students to start their day as they felt the wind in their faces and experienced the world around them.
Our Bike to School events are made possible through the volunteer efforts of many parents, teachers, police officers, school administrators, and others. Bike to School Day is also made possible by our supportive elected officials and other community leaders.
