What is Safe Routes Chagrin?

Established in 2007 by a group of parents interested in promoting walking and biking in our community, our program has worked hard to make getting around town on foot or bike a viable alternative for students.

Federal funding through the National Safe Routes To School program has helped us develop many programs and fund infrastructure improvements in  Chagrin Falls, OH that encourage alternative transportation for students in grades 4-8.    These changes also make the community a more pedestrian friendly environment for residents and visitors of all ages.

Check out our many annual events and ongoing projects – and keep in touch with us by signing up for our quarterly newsletter.

We’ve got a number of volunteer opportunities for adults and teens 13+ throughout the year.

Get involved in making Chagrin Falls a more walkable and cycling-friendly community!   We’d love to have you.
